Neuromuscular/Physiological Dentistry

Neuromuscular/Physiological dentistry focuses on how well the teeth, jaws and muscles of the face and neck work together. An improperly positioned jaw can create discomfort in a number of areas of the body, most often in the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ).

We use advanced technology to scan and track the muscles of the jaws and determine the extent to which TMJ disorder symptoms are caused by poor jaw and tooth alignment. By repositioning the jaws through a neuromuscular/physiological approach, proper functioning and comfort of the teeth, jaws and muscles can be achieved.
